Olha built her career across two fields — law and technology. She first earned a Master's degree in Law and spent 7 years in legal practice — starting as a prosecutor, followed by qualification as an advocate, and working across both criminal and civil law.
Over time, her focus shifted towards technology. She began learning programming independently, continued through formal training, secured her first role in tech, and later earned a BSc in Computer Science. She has now spent more than 8 years working in technology.
She went on to work as a Product Engineer, contributing to large-scale platforms — including systems used by millions at Lloyds Banking Group and Capgemini.
This transition was not straightforward — there was no clear system, no structured path, and little guidance on what was realistic. That experience shaped the foundation of Lurni.
Today, Olha leads Lurni end-to-end — driving product, technology, and overall business direction, and building a system that connects career decisions, skill development, and language learning into one structured, outcome-driven platform.
